Overview
This Digital Imaging Specialist + Retoucher role is responsible for retouching and preparing photography for digital use, organizing and managing assets within a digital asset management system, and supporting workflows tied to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
The position combines creative production with structured asset organization, ensuring that media content is properly processed, tagged, and published for cross-team use. Work includes maintaining AEM pages, developing and applying metadata and taxonomy standards, managing incoming requests, and participating in team reviews. This role plays a key part in ensuring high-quality visual content is consistently delivered and easily accessible across the organization.
Type: Contract, Hybrid in Orlando
Schedule: Regular day hours
Duration: 12 months / 1 year
Pay: $50 - $58/hr, paid weekly, benefits eligible
Digital Imaging Specialist + Retoucher Requirements
- Expertise in photography retouching and digital image processing (must have a portfolio link to review samples)
- Solid experience with asset management, metadata standards, and taxonomy within a DAM
- Proficiency with Adobe tools, including AEM and Photoshop; familiarity with Figma is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational capabilities
- Experience in digital librarian or product management workflows preferred
Digital Imaging Specialist + Retoucher Duties
- Retouch and process photography for digital platforms, ensuring quality and consistency
- Build and maintain AEM pages, upload assets, and manage metadata, taxonomy, and authoring flows
- Organize, tag, and publish digital assets for use by cross-functional teams
- Manage and triage incoming requests, routing tickets appropriately
- Participate in team critiques, reviews, and collaborative meetings
- Develop and maintain metadata schemas and taxonomy structures within the DAM to support searchability and content organization
