We are seeking a talented, driven, and experienced Restaurant Food and beverage Manager to lead all aspects of our business with a passion for hospitality! You will deliver a high-quality guest experience and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service.

Restaurant Manager responsibilities include

  • Manage daily bar operations, including opening and closing procedures
  • Hire, train, schedule, and supervise bartenders and barbacks
  • Ensure consistent quality of drinks, service, and presentation
  • Monitor inventory, place orders, and control liquor and supply costs
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards
  • Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly
  • Enforce responsible alcohol service and company policies
  • Collaborate with management on menus, specials, and promotions
  • Track sales performance and assist with cost control initiatives
  • Coordinate daily Front of the House restaurant operations
  • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
  • Organize and supervise shifts
  • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity and how to uphold and maintain our quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
  • Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it

Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste

  • Create detailed reports on daily, weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses
  • Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)
  • Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices and policies of our company
  • Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager

Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff

  • Familiarity with restaurant management software, like OpenTable, and Hotschedules not required but a plus

Excellent leadership skills, motivational and people skills

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a restaurant with similar style of dining, capacity, and volume
  • Maintain a professional and polished appearance and demeanor in high-volume situations
  • Possess exceptional communication skills and an ability to anticipate guest and employee needs.
  • Report on financial performance, inventory, and personnel

Create staff schedule to ensure appropriate staffing

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification card
  • Working knowledge of general restaurant operations, including personnel management, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation and health codes, and security
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Familiarity with restaurant software
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Microsoft Office Suite
