ABOUT THE JOB

The primary goal of this role is to drive revenue and enhance utilization within our target vertical markets through new business development efforts as well as managing a designated national account customer base. This includes identifying and expanding customer relationships within various industries such as Oil & Gas, Hospitality, Retail, Construction, Mining, Manufacturing, and Distribution. You will collaborate with inside/outside sales representatives and the National Sales Center to expand our national account business while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, negotiate, and onboard new national accounts while developing a robust pipeline of clients.
  • Create and implement strategic pricing initiatives.
  • Conduct market research and planning to uncover business opportunities within targeted sectors.
  • Coordinate support activities for the Channel, including Account and Market launches and effective communication of key metrics.
  • Develop weekly plans to efficiently allocate time and resources across accounts.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients.
  • Proactively reach out to potential clients to set up meetings and deliver presentations.
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and establish contractual agreements while ensuring strong financial performance.
  • Collaborate with National Account Coordinators to expand accounts and address customer service challenges.
  • Complete necessary reporting, contract documentation, and financial negotiations.
  • Create and leverage industry-specific value propositions.
  • Negotiate contract renewals and terms for expiring contracts and rate adjustments.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 5 years of proven sales experience, with a focus on complex negotiations.
  • 3 years of outside sales experience is required.
  • Experience presenting to C-suite executives.
  • Demonstrated success in new account growth and a strong financial aptitude.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a strong follow-up ethic.
  • Effective interpersonal and influencing capabilities.
  • Ability to multitask with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient with technology and communication tools.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Willingness to travel overnight up to 60% of the time.
