Who We Are
TEK Productions is a full-service corporate event production company creating immersive experiences in the live-show, business meeting, and event space.
What You’ll Do
The Production Manager provides support for client driven projects associated with live business meetings, events, theatrical performances, and/or video production. Reports to the producer and executive producer in the planning and execution of project deliverables.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide management support as necessary, research projects, handle program logistics and details, track and manage project deadlines, and workflows.
- Prepare proposals, SOWs, project budgets, schedules, spreadsheets and other documentation for project tracking and organization
- Provide management support to appropriately staff programs. Includes rate negotiations, deal memos, confirmation of bookings and tracking labor
- Interface with the producer(s), clients, venue/facility, and vendors in the planning process and on show site
- Provide direction to coordinators and production assistants in the development and planning for all project work
- Communicate with contracted crew in pre-planning and on-site execution of program
- Oversee rehearsal logistics by managing detailed schedules, including communication with crew to ensure smooth execution of events
- Responsible for providing timely project status and progress reports, reconciling completed projects to established budget, providing post show analysis, and managing the production budget and controlling costs.
- Organize regular meetings and updates to keep the team informed and address any concerns promptly
- Flexible schedule based on project priorities and deadlines; night and weekend work will be required
- All other duties assigned by management
- Travel is required
Qualifications & Skills
- 3-5 Years previous experience in a theatrical, media, entertainment, live event, or technical production discipline is required
- A proven team leader with the ability to direct, develop, and coach others
- Effectively work with a variety of personnel at all levels
- Superb organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
- Ability to work proactively and independently
- Proven initiative to complete assignments and meet deadlines
- Flexible problem-solver
- Foundational understanding of budgeting and accounting principles
- Knowledge of industry related labor laws and safety regulations
- Integrity in maintaining confidential information
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer programs; MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and MS Teams
- Working knowledge of Google Drive, Dropbox, Adobe is a plus
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
