We are seeking an experienced Crane and Rigging Sales Professional to support business development and customer engagement across Central Florida. This role is responsible for developing profitable work, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring proposed crane and rigging solutions are safe, executable, and aligned with company standards.

Position Summary

The Crane and Rigging Sales Professional drives revenue growth by identifying opportunities, developing customer relationships, and aligning client needs with Superior Rigging and Erecting’s crane and rigging capabilities.

This role works closely with Operations, Engineering, Safety, Project Management, and Accounting to ensure all work sold can be executed safely, efficiently, and profitably. The position requires a strong understanding of crane and rigging operations, disciplined sales execution, and consistent jobsite engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development and Sales Execution

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new crane and rigging business opportunities within the assigned market.
  • Develop clear, accurate, and value-focused proposals aligned with company capabilities and execution standards.
  • Utilize Fleet Cost and Care to prepare pricing, scopes of work, job estimates, lift plans, and proposals.
  • Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information within internal systems.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while expanding new customer partnerships.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer objectives, site conditions, and operational constraints.
  • Conduct jobsite visits to assess scope, feasibility, and execution considerations.

Collaboration and Project Alignment

  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Project Management, Safety, and Accounting to ensure scopes sold align with execution plans.
  • Support smooth handoff from sales to operations, ensuring scope clarity and expectation alignment.
  • Participate in internal planning discussions to support safe and efficient project delivery.

Market and Technical Insight

  • Monitor market conditions, customer trends, and competitor activity within the crane and rigging industry.
  • Apply technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to support creative, executable lifting solutions.
  • Provide feedback to leadership on market opportunities, pricing trends, and customer needs.

Key Performance Expectations

  • Development of profitable, executable crane and rigging work.
  • Accurate pricing and scope development aligned with field execution.
  • Strong collaboration with Operations and Safety leadership.
  • Consistent customer engagement and jobsite presence.
  • Contribution to backlog quality and margin performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in crane, rigging, heavy lift, or construction-related sales strongly preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present clear, professional proposals.
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
