Mission and metric
Company context (non-negotiable reality)
SmartyArty Tech is in its growth phase (4th year), with proven POC and roughly $3M total pre-funding revenue. We are launching an MVP SaaS platform serving doctors and lawyers, starting in Florida, then expanding into multiple states within ~90 days.
Your mission: architect and execute a fast-paced Go-To-Market strategy that builds the brand and drives paid growth. Must have ability to use Ai to automate engagement via digital marketing campaigns.
Your only success metric: monthly subscriptions.
Targets: 5k → 20k → 50k → 100k in 2026.
No vanity metrics. No “awareness” excuses. No vibes without output. We care about subscription growth, conversion rate, retention, churn, and repeatable acquisition—measured cleanly and reported consistently.
Responsibilities
You will build a growth engine that can win Florida, then scale state-by-state without diluting execution.
You will own, design, and drive
Brand voice that punches through: messaging, positioning, tone, identity, narrative, and category creation. You can make “boring” sound inevitable and “hard” feel urgent.
GTM architecture: segmentation (doctors vs lawyers), targeting, channel strategy, offer design, onboarding flows, lifecycle messaging, and conversion optimization. You think in funnels, not slogans.
Sales funnel and automation mastery: landing pages, sequences, pipeline stages, lead scoring, appointment setting, nurture loops, and post-sale retention tactics—built to run fast and measured weekly.
Paid + owned + partner media: campaigns that acquire and compound—paid social/search where it makes sense, owned channel infrastructure, and partner distribution that can be repeated across new markets.
Product-minded growth: you work with product like a co-pilot. You spot friction, articulate requirements, prioritize tests, and turn user behavior into roadmap decisions.
Launch playbooks: Florida launch plan, then a replicable multi-state rollout kit (messaging, outreach lists, partner templates, conversion assets, KPI cadence).
Non-negotiables
This role is designed to weed out 95% of applicants. If any of the following makes you defensive, you are not our person.
Proof, not promises: you must submit work samples and measurable results(screenshots/dashboards, before/after metrics, funnel conversion rates, CAC/LTV if available, deliverability stats, pipeline performance). If you can’t show receipts, you don’t have them.
High autonomy: you execute with minimal supervision. You don’t wait for instructions. You create the plan, get alignment fast, then ship. You communicate clearly, own outcomes, and adjust without ego.
Compliance awareness: you can market aggressively without creating compliance disasters. You understand the need for privacy discipline (HIPAA awareness) and professional-services marketing constraints (Florida Bar awareness). You don’t need to be a lawyer—just disciplined enough to avoid reckless tactics.
Required skills and tools (must have)
You have real operator experience with brand voice + GTM + funnels + product instincts. You can drive performance inside tools like GoHighLevel and you can build targeted acquisition lists using ListKit (or a truly equivalent tool). You understand email deliverability(domains, warmup, list hygiene, bounce/spam control, sequence design) and you can run paid / owned / partner channels like an adult, not a “marketer.”
Startup truth tolerance: low ego, high output, fast feedback loops, constant iteration. You don’t crumble when things break—you fix them.
Compensation and contract
This is a startup operator contract, not a comfy job.
Structure: independent contractor (1099).
Base pay: $2,000–$2,500/month to start.
Payment timing: first pay is issued after your first 30 days, then paid around the 15th and 30th of each month going forward.
Upside: earned equity + large success bonuses tied to subscription milestones and measurable performance.

Relocation
Remote to start. You must relocate to Florida within 6–9 months.

Application Question(s)
- You have 72 hours, $500, and no excuses. Write a 10-step Florida launch strike plan to get the first 100 paying subscriptions from doctors and lawyers. Each step must include: channel, tool, expected conversion rate, and what you’re measuring.
- Show us your operating system: paste one real growth experiment you shipped that failed. Include: hypothesis, exact metric definition, result, what you changed next, and what you learned (no motivational quotes, just truth).
- Using ListKit (or your equivalent), describe how you would build a clean, segmented list of Florida prospects and protect deliverability. Then write: one subject line, one cold email, and one follow-up that could realistically book meetings. Explain how you’ll detect list rot and spam risk before it hurts us.
