A Snapshot of your Day

Field Service International (FSI) supports and coordinates with international Siemens Energy entities. Assisting with Canadian Regional District Service Offices and International Districts, in outage preparation, tax liability, tracking and visa delegation processes supporting projects of the local end customer in Canada and abroad. The role will include Visa/Work Permit Procedures, Coordinate initiation of visas/work permit with business units & DSOs. Coordinate with Product Lines (PLs), Open Job Numbers in SAP for Canadian outages, Monitor and Track U.S. Resources Traveling to Canada to ensure compliance for all US travelers. Assist US employees regarding GMM Documentation by assisting with the collection, follow up and review of all required forms. Loading documentation into the VIS tool. Reviewing historical BTATs from the old VITT into the VIS tool, submitting BTATs and updating dates on behalf of business travelers. This is an office position that requires at least 3 days in office and has a high degree of internal customer interface.

Job Description(assisting in the below activities carried out by visa team) :

  • Canada work permits, preparing, collecting, and updating all the required documents to obtain a Canada work permit.
  • Submitting BTATs on behalf of employee
  • Review and Approve Timesheets for some Canadian assignments through mySPGI, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Open Job Numbers in SAP for Canadian outages, maintaining proper financial tracking and alignment with project budgets.
  • Purchase Order (PO) Compliance for all Canadian project and travel-related activities. Tracking and confirming of POs to align with SAP job numbers.
  • Vis Billing and Documentation Processes by managing the collection, organization, and uploading of all required travel and compliance documents.
  • Monitor and Track U.S. Resources Traveling to Canada to ensure compliance with immigration and taxation requirements.
  • Tracking Canadian Social Insurance Number (SIN) Compliance for all U.S. travelers to Canada.
  • Assist US employees regarding GMM Documentation by assisting with the collection, follow up and review of all required forms.
  • Attend Biweekly Coordination Meetings with Vialto, and Canadian Districts to address ongoing travel, compliance, and project needs.
  • Research visa processes for rarely supported countries to ensure latest information
  • Assist with procedural updates

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30.0 per week
