Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

• Provide high-quality care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization
• Monitor hemodynamics, assist with moderate sedation, and administer cardiac medications
• Assist cardiologists during procedures such as angiograms, stent placements, pacemaker insertions, and ablations
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure proper setup and functioning of Cath Lab equipment
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists, technologists, and the cardiac care team
• Conduct thorough pre-procedure prep and provide education and monitoring post-procedure
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Integrate smoothly into a fast-paced Cath Lab environment

Requirements for the Travel Nurse

• Active Florida or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years' recent Cath Lab experience.
