Job Overview

Administrative Support staff are responsible for keeping the Companies operating in a well-organized, efficient and compliant manner. Tasks include but may not be limited to: accounts receivables, accounts payables, payroll, purchasing, general data entry, general bookkeeping, payment processing, customer service, dispatching, benefits administration, payroll and company insurances and answering phones.

Reports To

Administrative Support staff will report to the General Manager.

What Success Looks Like

Successful Administrative Support staff are responsible for the following outcomes:

  • Accurate paperwork and data presented in a time efficient and organized manner.
  • Supportive of the Operations, Sales, Finance, IT and HR functions
  • Ensuring Companies remain in compliance with all local, state & federal regulatory requirements.
  • Advocating the Schwenn Company’s Vision of being our clients preferred and most desirable choice for their mechanical and electrical service needs.

How this position fits on the Team

Administrative Support staff are the hub around which the Schwenn Team operates and vital to the current and future success of the Companies and the Team.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform A/R and A/P tasks to ensure revenues and expenses are properly accounted for, paid and received.
  • Administer Payroll on a bi-weekly basis to ensure employees are properly paid. Record and pay all required payroll taxes and payroll deductions.
  • Provide and record purchase orders
  • Answer phones and route calls
  • Receive payments and record bank deposits
  • Dispatch and route technicians as needed

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Positive, outgoing nature
  • Able and willing to work in a team environment
  • Eager to learn and be continually educated
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
