A quick summary about the Live Entertainment & Game Presentation Graduate Associate role:
The Live Entertainment & Game Presentation Graduate Associate will assist in the development and execution of Live Event Production for Orlando Magic games and events, with a primary focus on in arena production, on court entertainment, and group performances.
This role supports all elements of the game presentation experience inside the arena.
What the Live Entertainment & Game Presentation Graduate Associate will be responsible for:
Live Event Production
Contribute to the planning, coordination and execution of all Live Entertainment and game presentation elements including, but not limited to, gameday activations, National Anthem and halftime performances, talent management, and fan engagement programming
Aid the Group Sales team in planning and fulfilling game day Fan Experiences
Collaborate with the Global Partnerships team to develop partner activation solutions and create engaging partner promotions
Support mascot operations in game day and non‑game day roles including, but not limited to, prop development, logistics planning and coordination, and on‑site execution appearances execution
Work alongside internal stakeholders including Arena Operations, Business Strategy, Client Services and Broadcast Production to ensure seamless execution of the gameday experience
Research and implement new concepts to achieve business goals and enhance game presentation including theme night content, in-arena promotions, music, graphics, and video content
Develop scripts and production schedules for select productions
Participate in stage management and production support for inside events
General Office Duties
Maintain and prepare all game night documents
Compile and gain insight from market research including Magic Memories, NBA Media Archive, and online media and distribute information to the team
All other duties as assigned
What the Live Entertainment & Game Presentation Graduate Associate needs to have:
Post Grad (recent college graduates within 24 months of graduation) or graduate-level college students required.
Degree in marketing and/or sports management preferred.
1-2 years of marketing or sports management experience preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other related computer skills required.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.
Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on business writing skills.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks/projects and support multiple high level executive positions.
Ability to work independently without supervision, be self-directed and demonstrate initiative.
Strong team synergy skills and ability to work collaboratively with others whom you have no direct authority over.
Excellent ability to establish rapport with others and ability to build strong interpersonal relationships.
Exhibit good judgment and decision-making skills.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends and be on-call as necessary based on the changing priorities of the department.

Relocation Information
Relocation and housing expenses are the responsibility of the Graduate Associate (Please note that while we have a hybrid work model, this does require you to live and work out of the Orlando, Florida area.)
Reliable transportation is also needed
Working Hours
Office Hours - M-F, 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
Based on role determines in office and remote working by the manager
Most Associates work all game nights (44 home games + playoffs and finals) including weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements
Ability to lift sand bags, inflatables, and giveaway boxes up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand on feet for 6-7 hours per event
