šŸ“ Position Summary

We are seeking a Unit Secretary to support our Multisystem Progressive Care Unit (PCU) team. In this vital role, you’ll perform clerical and administrative tasks to help ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the welcoming face of the unit—greet and direct visitors and staff courteously.
  • Transcribe physicians’ orders promptly and accurately.
  • Communicate consultation requests and updates clearly and efficiently.
  • Handle data entry, record assembly/breakdown, and preparation for patient transfers.
  • Answer phone calls and patient call lights, routing requests or addressing them as appropriate.

šŸŽ“ Qualifications

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills: Keyboarding skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of medical terminology or Health Unit Coordinator certification.

No licensure or prior experience required—just bring your professionalism, organization, and passion for patient-centered care!
