Position Summary
Orlando Health is seeking a dynamic Director, Market Clinical Resource to lead our Clinical Resource Management program across multiple hospitals.
This role is pivotal in driving supply expense optimization and implementing strategies that enhance clinical and financial performance.
Reporting to the AVP of Strategic Sourcing and Contracting, you will influence enterprise-wide initiatives, build strategic alliances with hospital leadership, clinicians, and physicians, and ensure successful execution of our Supply Chain Operations plan.
BSN and RN license highly preferred for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Clinical Resource Managers across the organization.
- Develop and implement market-based strategies to reduce supply expenses, focusing on high-cost departments such as surgical services, Cath Lab, EP Lab, and Special Procedures.
- Review and optimize group purchasing contracts and execute product standardization initiatives.
- Facilitate New Technology and Product committees to evaluate clinical evidence, financial considerations, and opportunities for standardization.
- Build strong relationships with hospital leadership, physicians, and supply chain teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Monitor supply expense variances and develop action plans to mitigate increases.
- Support disaster response efforts and manage product recalls or backorders.
- Provide effective communication and serve as a subject matter expert to stakeholders.
Education & Licensure
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Administration, Nursing, Pharmacy, or Allied Health Profession with experience in healthcare value analysis, clinical supply chain, or acute care hospital performance.
- BSN and RN license highly preferred for this role.
- Preferred: Master’s degree.
- Clinical licensure or certification strongly preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of clinical operational hospital or healthcare experience.
- Minimum 3–5 years of hospital management experience; multi-facility experience preferred.
- Proven leadership experience (CNO, ACNO, Director roles preferred).
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
- Supply chain experience from a clinical perspective highly desirable.

- Ability and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned market.
