Activities Director

Orlando Health and Rehabilitation Center, is hiring for a full-time Activity Director to join the team!

The Activity Director is responsible for supervising and provides an activity program appropriate to meet the physical, social, cultural, spiritual, emotional, and recreational needs and interests of each patient/resident. The Director of Activities provides the opportunity for residents/patients to engage in normal pursuits, as well as promoting a successful and well-balanced leisure lifestyle.

Requirements

Experience in a Long Term Care /Assisted Living Facility environment preferred.

Must be a qualified therapeutic recreation specialist or an activities professional who is licensed or registered, as required, by the State of Florida is eligible for certification as a therapeutic recreation specialist or as an activity professional by a recognized accrediting body or willing to obtain certification.
