Director of Warehouse Operations

Our client is a rapidly growing, multi-site manufacturing and distribution platform operating across Florida. The business supports both internal production and external 3PL partnerships, with a strong emphasis on operational excellence, inventory integrity, and scalable systems.

This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing warehouse operations across multiple facilities. The mandate is not simply to manage existing processes — but to design, implement, and standardize new operating procedures that will support the company’s next phase of growth.

Position Overview

The Multi-Site Warehouse Manager will lead end-to-end warehouse operations across several locations, ensuring seamless inventory flow, productivity optimization, and service-level excellence.

This role is ideal for a hands-on operational leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and has experience building structure where it does not yet fully exist. You will be expected to evaluate current workflows, redesign processes where necessary, and implement standardized SOPs across all sites.

Key Responsibilities

Process Design & Standardization

• Evaluate existing warehouse workflows and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and risk areas
• Design and implement new SOPs across receiving, storage, picking, packing, repacking, and shipping
• Standardize processes so team members can seamlessly operate across multiple facilities
• Establish productivity benchmarks and accountability frameworks
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives rooted in Lean principles
• Strategic Capacity Planning
• Forecast and optimize warehouse utilization across multiple sites
• Develop slotting strategies to minimize touches and maximize storage efficiency
• Align space planning with production and customer demand forecasts
• Labor Optimization
• Lead and develop a team of approximately 30 warehouse professionals
• Flex labor between facilities based on volume fluctuations
• Implement productivity standards and monitor earned vs. actual hours
• Repacking & Value-Add Operations
• Oversee high-volume repacking and kitting lines
• Manage throughput, cost control, and P&L accountability
• Implement process controls to ensure margin protection and operational consistency
• 3PL & Client Performance
• Serve as operational liaison for 3PL partnerships
• Ensure inventory accuracy and SLA performance across sites
• Coordinate closely with production, procurement, and customer service teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (preferred)
• 5+ years of warehouse or distribution center experience (multi-site preferred)
• 3+ years of leadership experience
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing new operational processes
• Proficiency in WMS and ERP systems (SAP experience a plus)
• Strong understanding of OSHA and regulatory compliance standards
