Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused CT Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in a hospital-based imaging department. This role supports both inpatient and outpatient populations across all age groups and emphasizes quality, safety, and patient-centered care. The CT Technologist works collaboratively with medical staff and other departments to ensure efficient and accurate imaging services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
- Ensure high standards of image quality, accuracy, and patient safety
- Provide imaging services to inpatient and outpatient populations of all age groups
- Maintain professional communication and collaboration with physicians, nurses, and departmental staff
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships across departments
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards
- May be required to support imaging services across affiliated hospital or outpatient locations as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required
- Acute care experience not required
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of start date)
Preferred Qualifications
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) - Radiography (R) and CT credentials
- Experience working in a hospital or multi-site imaging environment
