The Restaurant Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of our live music venues. This individual will be responsible for maintaining a comfortable atmosphere in the room, enforcing standards for staff uniforms, quality of service/food, and timeliness of food. They will also assist and support restaurant staff in their job functions, conduct daily pre-shifts, and direct interaction with trainers/trainees. Key responsibilities include conducting 100% table visits, ensuring service meets HOB standards, and assisting in scheduling staff, voids/closing comps, liquor pulls, cutting staffing levels, checking out Blues Buster and bar staff at end of shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership background, excellent guest relations skills, and the ability to prioritize, organize, motivate staff, problem solve, delegate, follow-up, communicate, and diffuse volatile situations with tact.

Requirements

  • Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent
  • Ability to work late hours
  • 3 years supervisory experience in high volume restaurant/music hall environment
  • Working knowledge of restaurant operations
  • Entry level knowledge of state, federal and local liquor laws, retail operations, computers (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
