Fixed Asset/Financial Analyst-Orlando

LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring for a Fixed Asset/Financial Analyst for our client in Orlando, FL. This direct hire role is 100% onsite for the first 90 days then hybrid 1-2 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of capital asset activity — additions, transfers, retirements, and depreciation.
• Analyze capital projects to determine proper classification and prepare financial analysis system entries.
• Reconcile the Fixed Asset module to the General Ledger; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities related to capital assets.
• Prepare capital asset schedules, notes, and supporting documentation.
• Research and apply GAAP and industry guidance for complex or unusual transactions.
• Conduct financial analysis on large construction projects, including capitalized interest calculations.
• Support bank reconciliations, interfund entries, inventory reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Partner with internal teams and support testing for Oracle financial analysis module updates.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 4+ years of experience managing capital fixed assets, including construction-in-progress.
• Knowledge of capital asset lifecycle management, depreciation methods, and complex project accounting.
• Strong analytical skills and experience working with large volumes of financial data.
• Proficiency with accounting systems (Oracle preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills and high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Salary Range

• $70-80K
