Your Role on the Team

As a Field Service Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch maintenance support in our single-family rental homes while enhancing the quality of life for our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

• Addressing maintenance service requests in various trades with precision and care.
• Providing outstanding customer service to ensure a positive living experience for all residents.
• Conducting regular ProCare visits to proactively maintain and repair home systems.
• Educating residents on maintenance topics to empower them in their living space.
• Performing property condition assessments during visits and notifying the property management team of any urgent concerns.
• Analyzing technician-specific reports to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
• Executing repairs in vacant properties efficiently to prepare them for new rentals.
• Caring for and using company-supplied tools, materials, and vehicles responsibly.
• Taking on other related tasks as assigned.

Your Experience Includes

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• OSHA 10 certification required (new hires can obtain this within 90 days of employment).
• Demonstrated experience in residential repairs, maintenance, or related fields.
• A solid understanding of residential construction and mechanical systems, with the ability to handle general repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC (minor) and appliances. Some training will be provided.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, complemented by strong verbal and written communication abilities; multilingual skills are a plus.
• Comfortable using mobile devices and applications for day-to-day tasks.
• A current driver's license and automobile insurance, along with any additional licenses/certifications required by law.
• Preferred (but not required) certifications include EPA Certification, HVAC Certification, and CPO certification (pool).
• Availability to work consistently, including weekends and holidays as required.
• A personal set of basic hand and power tools.
• The ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting over 50 pounds and operating standard maintenance equipment.
• Occasionally conducting occupancy checks and participating in eviction lockouts/setouts in coordination with local law enforcement.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is: $19.11 - $33.13, with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend on your skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
