Duties

• Address and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Assist guests with inquiries related to food preparation, menu items, and restaurant services.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, refunds, and transactions.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Manage cash handling accurately during transactions, including cashiering duties.
• Maintain food safety standards by adhering to sanitation and food handling protocols.
• Support food service operations by assisting with bussing tables, food preparation, and basic kitchen tasks when needed.
• Ensure timely service delivery through effective time management skills.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold cleanliness, sanitation, and overall restaurant standards.
• Engage in continuous learning about menu offerings, food industry trends, and customer service best practices.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is desirable.
• Knowledge of food preparation, food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with effective sales techniques including upselling.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for cashiering, retail math, or grocery store transactions.
• Experience in serving, bussing tables, or café operations is advantageous.
• Demonstrated time management skills to ensure prompt service delivery.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
