Our Costume Support team supports costume inventory management and handles the life cycle of fabrics for The Walt Disney Company Worldwide. If selected as a Customer Support intern, you will report to the Area Manager of Character Inventory.
The approximate date of this internship is June 2026 to January 2027, located in Orlando, FL.
What You Will Do
Our Team is integral in providing the best possible customer service to our sites and cast as we fulfill their costume needs. On any given day, the intern could assist with Corporate Character Costume orders, work with our Materials Handling team, support Operational garment needs, or focus on a site-specific project.
- Perform SAP transactions such as organizing cycle counts, order processing, and costing that ensure accurate Costume inventory
- Prepare journal entries and run month-end processing requirements
- Review, analyze, and quality check data, identifying and elevating discrepancies for resolution and partnering with internal Costume team members to reconcile payment or quantity discrepancies with accounts payable
- Prepare documentation for international sales and shipments
- Forecasting material purchasing needs and space planning efforts
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Smartsheet
- Knowledge of accounting and purchasing practices, such as Accounts Payable
- Self-starter with the ability to multitask with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Theater or performing background, ideal
Education
- Currently enrolled as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student earning a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Data Management, Fashion Merchandising, Costume Technology, Apparel Buying, Apparel Development, Sourcing, or related field
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the requirements below:
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, taking at least one class at the time of application posting, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
- Possess a valid US driver’s license and have the ability to operate a company vehicle
- Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
- Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship

- Able to provide reliable transportation to/from work
- Must be fully available for the duration of the internship
