Marketing & Public Relations Manager
Dezerland Park OrlandoWe are looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing and PR Manager who will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing and public relations strategies. The manager will help the marketing team enhance brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and support business growth. This role will oversee marketing campaigns, media relations, content strategy, and support the growth of the marketing team.

Reports to: Director of Marketing
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and day-to-day management of marketing initiatives
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Marketing and ownership to ensure alignment with organizational objective
- Work closely with marketing team on social media strategies, creative input, visual assets, and event logistics
- Lead and mentor marketing team, fostering collaboration and creativity
- Assess marketing initiatives to continuously determine adjustments needed to match consumer demands
- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Digital Marketing Specialist to support paid media, email marketing, and website initiatives
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing, promotional, and public-facing communications
- Partner with cross-functional departments to support new product/experience launches, property updates, and major announcements
- Lead cross-functional marketing and operations teams in the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of high-impact marketing events from concept through completion
- Track and monitor marketing spend to ensure budget efficiency while maximizing ROI
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of weekly and monthly marketing performance reports, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights for leadership
Public Relations Responsibilities
- Drafting press releases, media alerts, and story ideas that align with brand messaging and organizational objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with media and external partners
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Marketing to ensure alignment with organizational objective
- Track and evaluate media coverage to help strengthen and protect brand reputation
- Coordinate media interviews and press events
- Monitor media coverage and prepare reports
- Partner with cross-functional departments to support new product/experience launches, property updates, and major announcements

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or related field, preferred
- 3-5+ years of Marketing or Public Relations experience, required
- 1-2+ years of managerial experience in Marketing or Public Relations, required
- Experience in hospitality, tourism, or theme park industry, preferred
- Hands-on experience in marketing campaigns, social media management, and project management
- Experience in press releases, media outreach, pitching story ideas, and securing earned media coverage
- Experience in planning, coordinating, and executing Marketing Events from concept to completion
- Experience in monitoring market trends and consumer insights to guide strategic marketing adjustments
- Experience in Dropbox, Adobe, WordPress, Klayvio, a plus
- Experience in project management software (ClickUp, Microsoft Suites), a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Collaborative team player with leadership and team management abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for events or campaigns
