Communications Manager We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Communications Manager to lead and execute our internal, partner, and external communication strategies. This role is pivotal in ensuring clear, consistent, and engaging messaging across all audiences, from frontline employees to external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator, strategic thinker, and project manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance multiple priorities with ease. This role serves as a trusted adviser to C-Suite level executives.
Responsibilities
- Internal Communication (30%): Develop and distribute a monthly internal newsletter to keep employees informed and engaged
- Craft ad hoc executive communications as necessary
- Serve as communications adviser and communicate on behalf of employee resource groups
- Collaborate with HR to create and deliver impactful HR communications, including those around internal systems changes and migrations
- Provide cross-departmental communication advising for large- and small-scale projects, and create comprehensive communication plans as necessary
- External Communication (40%): Serve as the primary point of contact for PR initiatives, ensuring quality work is created and delivered on behalf of the brand
- Manage and grow the company’s LinkedIn presence, content creation and engagement reporting
- Write and edit website content, including blogs, to enhance SEO and showcase thought leadership
- Create branded GIFs and graphics using Adobe Express
- Write and edit press releases and serve as media point of contact for research results, etc.
- Monitor and analyze communication metrics using platforms like Meltwater to continuously improve external outreach efforts.
- Partner Communication (30%): Review and edit marketing content to ensure it aligns with the partner’s brand voice, tone, and editorial standards to maintain brand integrity across channels
- Write compelling testimonials and case studies to highlight successful partnerships
- Develop and execute content strategies to amplify a partner’s brand presence and create opportunities for co-branding such as social media, webinars, roundtables, white papers, etc.
- Engage influencers to market on behalf of partners as well as the enterprise brand
Requirements
- 4-year degree from an accredited institution in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or equivalent discipline OR appropriate combination of experience and education
- Strong knowledge of communications best practices and techniques
- Excellent writing techniques
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Sharepoint, data visualization tools, virtual meeting, collaboration/whiteboarding tools and mainstream social media channels
- Great attention to detail, excellent organizational acumen and ability to operate with high level of autonomy and professionalism
- The ability to multi-task, and work well under pressure with tight timelines
