Customer Service Representative /Tech Support Specialist
Job Location: Orlando, Florida
Job Type: Temporary
Pay Rate: $18-$19/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am-5pm (various shifts available)
Description of Position
Do you have experience in Customer Service and Technical Support? We are seeking personable and friendly Customer Service / Technical Support Specialists for a seasonal assignment. In this role, you will study technical applications, ensure proper operations, make recommendations, and support end users to maximize computer system capabilities. This is a great opportunity for individuals with strong IT knowledge and excellent customer service skills.
Bilingual candidates (Spanish/English) are highly encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities
- Field incoming help requests from end users via telephone, work orders, and help desk in a courteous and professional manner
- Build rapport and elicit problem details from help desk customers
- Record, track, and document the problem solving process, including all decisions and actions taken through to resolution
- Apply diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting
- Access software updates, drivers, knowledge based, and FAQs to aid in problem resolution
- Identify and learn the appropriate software and hardware supported by the organization
- Perform hands on fixes such as software installation, upgrades, file backups, and system configuration
- Test solutions to ensure issues are fully resolved
- Conduct post resolution follow ups to confirm customer satisfaction
- Support users with both technical and service related needs
- Perform additional related duties consistent with the role

Experience Required
- Stellar customer service experience with a personable, solution focused approach
- Broad understanding of computer hardware
- Proven experience with desktop operating systems
- Strong problem solving and process improvement skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly
- Experience with software maintenance and testing
- Strong multi-tasking capabilities in a dynamic environment
- Willingness and desire to develop technical support skills further
- Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred
