This opportunity is ideal for experienced Special Education Teachers seeking full-time roles in self-contained classrooms across Elementary, Middle, and High school levels. These positions are located throughout Pasco County, offering the chance to relocate or travel to the Tampa area while making a meaningful impact on students lives.

In this role, you will work with small groups of 4-5 students who have a range of disabilities including Emotional Behavioral Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Each classroom benefits from the support of behavior specialists and instructional assistants, ensuring a collaborative environment to meet diverse learning needs. The district also provides CPI training to equip you with essential skills for managing challenging behaviors effectively.

Qualified candidates must have previous experience in self-contained Exceptional Student Education (ESE) classrooms, proficiency in writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and developing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). A Bachelors degree in Exceptional Student Education is required to ensure you are prepared for the challenges and rewards of this role.

Key qualifications and skills include
