Manager, Logistics

Overview

In this role you drive efficient, cost-effective movement of goods across SeaWorld's logistics network, partnering with 3PLs and parcel carriers to optimize service levels and reduce costs. You'll lead day-to-day transportation operations, monitor performance, and implement improvements that support guest-centric experiences and business objectives. This position offers cross-functional collaboration, exposure to carrier negotiations, and opportunities to shape our distribution strategy at scale.

Responsibilities

• Oversee parcel, LTL, FTL, imports and expedited shipments and related receiving coordination
• Develop logistics strategies aligned with business goals and customer service
• Monitor performance metrics, transit times, SLAs, and identify cost-reduction opportunities
• Manage primary relationships with 3PLs, contracts, and performance reviews
• Oversee FedEx, UPS, and other carrier relationships, data analysis, and contract renewals
• Partner with parcel audit vendors to ensure billing accuracy and recoveries
• Prepare and report on transportation spend, cost-saving initiatives, and budget adherence
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across logistics processes and cross-functional teams

Key requirements

• 5+ years of logistics, transportation, supply chain, or distribution management experience
• Experience managing 3PL providers
• Experience with parcel carriers including FedEx and UPS
• Strong understanding of transportation cost management
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Excel, TMS, and shipping platforms
• Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities
