As a Front Line Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
- Plan and organize workloads to ensure successful completion of tasks by your team.
- Delegate responsibilities effectively, considering the skills and abilities of your team members.
- Assess performance and provide recommendations for both outstanding achievements and necessary improvements.
- Guide employees with advice and support on both work and administrative matters.
- Participate in the recruitment process by interviewing candidates and recommending selections for positions.
- Address and resolve employee concerns, escalating issues as necessary.
- Implement minor disciplinary actions and suggest further actions when serious issues arise.
- Identify and promote the professional development and training needs of your staff.
- Propose enhancements to production processes and quality of work.
In this position, you will also take on specific duties, providing ample opportunities for professional growth.
- Supervisory - 40% - Act as the first-line supervisor for EEO Specialists, disability services professionals, and support personnel. You will oversee daily operations, manage task distribution, and ensure program objectives are met in a timely manner.
- Program Management - 35% - Lead and guide disability services programs and contract administration. You will shape strategic goals, align operations with federal requirements, and ensure alignment with the IRS mission.
- Program Analysis - 25% - Conduct thorough analyses of program operations and performance to assess effectiveness. You will establish performance metrics, monitor outcomes, and develop strategies for resource allocation and operational priorities.
