Overview

In this role you will lead the day-to-day operations of a medium-sized hedge fund accounting team and drive NAV construction, validation, review, and reporting for complex funds. You will coordinate data maintenance, generate system reports, and guide junior colleagues while maintaining client relationships and ensuring accurate daily and monthly accounting. Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting and NAV production functions for complex funds, including construction, validation, review, and reporting
• Provide direction and technical guidance to the fund accounting team and review junior staff work
• Ensure data accuracy, maintain accounting records, and resolve escalated issues
• Develop data maintenance and summarization processes to improve efficiency
• Produce and review system-generated reports and share them with accounting teams and clients
• Maintain client relationships, communicate data needs, and respond to inquiries
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce audit risk and improve efficiency
• Support achievement of team objectives and daily operations

Key requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent
• 3+ years of total work experience; experience in accounting support preferred
• No direct reports; may have team lead responsibilities and work allocation
