Project Manager, PD&E

Overview

In this Project Manager, PD&E role, you lead transportation planning and environmental reviews for major roadways and transit projects in Florida. You'll supervise technical teams, manage client pursuits, and guide studies from concept to execution, strengthening client relationships and project outcomes. You'll work within Stantec's transportation group to shape planning and design across airports, bridges, roads, and transit. Responsibilities

• Leading and developing technical discipline teams on transportation planning and PD&E projects
• Client development and coordinating pursuits and proposals
• Serving as senior technical lead for concepts, reports, and studies
• Building strong client relationships to drive community impact and staff development
• Developing value-added solutions and leading contract pursuits for engineering services
• Increasing company profile through industry engagement
• Strategic planning and plan execution for operations and business development
• Planning, organizing, and supervising transportation professionals
• Negotiating, planning, and delivering quality projects and consulting services
• Reviewing designs for conformance with state and local standards

Key requirements

• 10+ years of progressive civil engineering highway/roadway transportation planning/design experience
• Proven experience managing roadway infrastructure development including PD&E studies and traffic engineering
• Experience in project pursuits, client engagement, and developing proposals
• Thorough understanding of codes and design requirements in relevant jurisdictions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lead a team on multiple assignments
• Strong client interaction and relationship skills
• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
• P.E. licensed in Florida is preferred
