Position Description

We’re seeking a creative, driven, and technically curious Marketing Intern who can help us bring our story to life. You’ll create stunning visual and written content that translates complex scientific innovations into engaging, accessible, and high-impact media across platforms.

You’ll work directly with the founders and product team to:

• Capture & edit product and lab visuals using DSLR camera (Canon preferred)
• Create visual assets and short-form videos using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and AI-based tools (RunwayML, Midjourney, Sora, etc.)
• Write and publish blog posts on nanomaterials, sustainability, and product innovation
• Support social media planning, content calendars, and analytics
• Design graphics, infographics, and visual reports for investor and customer presentations
• Research and implement cutting-edge AI tools for image, video, and content generation
• Help develop Soarce’s brand voice and visual identity as we scale

This is not a passive internship. We're looking for someone who thrives on creative freedom, takes initiative, and wants to build a portfolio that stands out in any room.

Position Requirements

Must-Haves

• Proficiency in Canon DSLR photo/video capture
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects)
• Fluency in Canva for quick-turn graphics and templates
• Strong writing ability (blog posts, social captions, short-form web content)
• A portfolio that shows strong visual storytelling
• Desire to translate technical/scientific topics into engaging visual content
• A drive to explore and quickly learn new AI tools for marketing (we’ll support training)
• Clear communication, reliability, and self-direction

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with tools like RunwayML, Midjourney, Sora, or Pika
• Understanding of B2B marketing or startup branding
• Interest in sustainability, materials science, or climate tech
