Find an exciting career making a difference in young children’s lives! We are seeking a Full-Time Infant Lead Teacher who is nurturing, dependable, and experienced in caring for infants. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, flexible, punctual, and able to work collaboratively with a teaching team while maintaining a safe and loving classroom environment.

Our staff members are expected to support infants’ developmental milestones through intentional care, responsive interactions, and daily routines. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about early childhood development and building strong relationships with both children and families. This FULL-TIME role will strengthen your skills in communication, classroom management, documentation, and infant development practices.

Duties in the Classroom Will Include

  • Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities for infants (6 weeks–12 months), in collaboration with assistant teachers.
  • Maintaining a consistent daily routine that supports feeding, diapering, sleeping, and play schedules.
  • Ensuring a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment at all times.
  • Following all licensing, health, and safety requirements related to infant care.
  • Maintaining accurate daily reports for parents, including feeding, diapering, naps, and milestones.
  • Building positive, professional relationships with families through daily communication.
  • Effectively communicating with coworkers regarding children’s needs and classroom operations.
  • Assisting with classroom cleaning, sanitizing, and organization.
  • Modeling professionalism, teamwork, and leadership within the classroom.

Applicant Requirements

  • Minimum of 45 hours of DCF training required; Infant/Toddler CDA required (Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or higher is a plus).
  • At least two years of experience as a lead or head teacher in an infant classroom within a licensed child care center.
  • Current CPR/First Aid and Fire Safety Training (Infant/Child).
  • Must pass background screening (Florida and out-of-state if relocated to Florida within the last 5 years).
  • Strong knowledge of infant development, safety practices, and state regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:30am–6:30pm (may vary based on center needs)

Pay: $14.00–$16.00 per hour
