The IT Specialist is responsible for providing responsive technical support and systems administration to ensure employees remain productive while safeguarding company technology and client information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, user account, printer, telephony, and collaboration platform issues.
  • Set up and deactivate user accounts, devices, permissions, and business applications in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain accurate ticket documentation, technology asset inventories, system documentation, software updates, and equipment standards.
  • Support office openings, relocations, conference room technology, remote employees, and company-wide technology deployments.
  • Escalate security-related incidents and advanced technical issues to the appropriate teams in a timely manner.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on common technology tools, cybersecurity best practices, and available self-service resources.

Required Qualifications

  • Three or more years of experience in help desk, desktop support, or systems administration.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, networking, endpoint support, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and transport standard IT equipment and travel between office locations when required.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and following established security procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL, or other relevant technical certifications.
  • Experience supporting multiple office locations or working within a professional services or legal environment.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and endpoint management platforms.

Performance Metrics

Success in this role will be evaluated through

  • Response and resolution times for support requests.
  • Ticket backlog management and end-user satisfaction.
  • Accuracy of device deployment and user access provisioning.
  • Compliance with patch management, inventory tracking, and documentation standards.
