Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Orlando, FL, for a JSU Teen Director. The role involves creating, planning, and implementing programs and events to engage and inspire teens. The director will mentor and build relationships with teens, fostering leadership development and community involvement. Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, managing volunteers, maintaining communication with teens and their families, and collaborating with other staff members to meet organizational goals. The role also involves creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all teens.

• Program Development and Event Planning expertise
• Relationship-building and Leadership Development skills
• Communication, Collaboration, and Team Management abilities
• Knowledge of Teen Engagement and Youth Programming strategies
• Experience in a leadership role within youth-focused organizations is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, or a related field is preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
