Responsibilities
  • Lead highway and bridge design projects, including operational and safety improvements
  • Head technical teams to develop innovative roadway design solutions
  • Provide advanced design concepts, techniques, and standards
  • Ensure high-quality technical output and optimal use of engineering personnel
  • Collaborate with business development and marketing to secure new FDOT and Florida Turnpike Enterprise projects
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license with ability to serve as Engineer of Record (EOR)
  • Significant post-graduate transportation/highway engineering experience
  • Experience leading roadway design projects and managing multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of FDOT project development processes, design criteria, and multiple district standards
