The Opportunity
As an Assistant Director of Communications, you will play a crucial role in leading the development and execution of integrated internal communication strategies that enhance EY's growth, reputation, and market presence. You will act as a trusted communications advisor to Office leadership, translating business strategies and firm priorities into compelling narratives that resonate with our audiences. This position operates in a fast-paced environment and requires strong judgment, an executive presence, and strategic leadership.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead communications strategies that support Office priorities and align with the overall firm strategy.
- Act as a communications advisor to office and market leaders, providing guidance on messaging, reputation management, and issue response.
- Shape and manage narratives that emphasize EY's market leadership and client impact.
- Oversee integrated communications across various channels, including leadership messaging and social media.
- Collaborate closely with Talent, Marketing, and other leaders to ensure cohesive storytelling throughout the firm.
- Establish frameworks and processes for effective planning and execution within communications teams.
- Utilize data and insights to measure communication effectiveness and refine strategies accordingly.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

Ideally, you'll also have
- 7-8 years of experience in communications or related fields.
- Bachelor's degree required; relevant experience considered.

- Experience in cross-functional initiatives within complex organizations.
- Familiarity with engagement analytics and reporting tools.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to influence and collaborate across diverse stakeholders.
