Restaurant General Manager (RGM)

The Restaurant General Manager (RGM) is our executive site leader. You aren’t just managing a shift; you are running a business. Reporting directly to the District Manager, you will oversee an Assistant Manager, Hourly Shift Coordinators, and a dedicated team of 20–25 employees. Your mission: drive profitability, cultivate a high-performance culture, and deliver a guest experience that keeps the community coming back.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Profitability
- Own the P&L: Take primary accountability for financial goals, identifying and acting on opportunities to increase margins.
- Drive Sales: Leverage exceptional service and operational excellence to grow the top line.
Guest & Community Excellence
- Lead the Standard: Motivate your team to deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service in a pristine environment.
- Problem Solver: Resolve guest issues with urgency and use feedback to implement long-term corrective actions.
- Community Connector: Build local relationships and execute marketing initiatives to grow your restaurant's footprint.
People Leadership
- Build Your Bench: Lead recruitment and selection to ensure your store is staffed with top-tier talent.
- Coach & Develop: Provide continuous feedback and training to Assistant Managers and Shift Coordinators to prepare them for their next career move.
- Culture Builder: Foster an environment of recognition and high morale.
Operational Mastery
- Optimize Labor: Execute effective scheduling to balance labor costs with peak performance.
- Total Compliance: Ensure 100% adherence to health regulations, employment laws, and brand standards.
Requirements
- Age: 18+ years of age.
- Education: High school diploma/GED required (2 years of college preferred).
- Experience: 1–2 years of successful restaurant management experience.
- Skills: Deep understanding of P&L drivers and excellent organizational habits.
- Certification: Valid ServSafe certification and experience in high-volume drive-thru operations.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience in 24 hour drive-thru is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Base Salary: Commensurate with experience.
- Performance Bonuses: Eligible to earn up to $12,000 annually in performance-based bonuses.

Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in the food & restaurant industry
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 18 years or older
- At least high school diploma or equivalent or higher
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Food Service license/certification: ServSafe Manager Certification
- Valid driver's license
- Background check
- Speaks English
- Comfortable handling customer complaints
- Reads English
- Available to work: holidays
- Available to work: early morning
- Available to work: late at night
- Available to work: weekends
- Has (or willing to open) a checking account for direct deposit
