The Talent Acquisition Manager supports hiring and talent planning efforts that align with ABC’s growth and day-to-day operational needs. This role partners closely with leaders to improve hiring consistency, strengthen how we select leaders, and provide insights that help the business stay staffed and ready for growth.This position plays an important role in supporting expansion, building bench strength, and planning for future staffing needs across ABC. The role works closely with Learning & Development and operational leaders to support onboarding, retention, and leadership growth across the organization.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Talent Planning
- Support talent planning efforts aligned with company growth, staffing needs, and expansion.
- Partner with leaders to identify staffing trends, hiring challenges, and succession risks, and help build practical solutions.
- Improve recruiting processes, interview approaches, and hiring practices to create more consistency and better hiring decisions.
- Strengthen sourcing efforts through networking, community partnerships, trade schools, and industry connections.
- Manage and improve recruiting tools, applicant tracking systems, and job postings.
- Support leadership hiring and succession efforts by helping identify both internal and external talent.
Leadership Support, Retention & Partnership
- Work with Learning & Development and leaders to support onboarding, retention, and leadership development.
- Partner with leaders to improve interview consistency and overall hiring effectiveness.
- Provide guidance to hiring managers on interviewing, candidate evaluation, and the hiring process.
- Identify hiring and retention trends and share recommendations that support the business.
- Contribute to talent-related projects and company initiatives.
Talent Analytics & Process Improvement
- Use workforce data and hiring insights to identify ways to improve processes and efficiency.
- Create and maintain clear recruiting processes and documentation.
- Continuously improve recruiting workflows and onboarding practices.
- Ensure hiring practices follow all employment laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or a related field.
- Experience supporting multi-location environments (retail, warehouse, logistics, etc.) preferred.
- Experience supporting growth or expansion efforts preferred.
- Strong understanding of sourcing, recruiting strategies, and interviewing practices.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools.
- Ability to build processes, improve systems, and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work effectively with leaders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Practical, business-minded approach with the ability to balance immediate hiring needs with longer-term talent goals.
